We have held a number of very successful weddings at The Malt House, all of which have been unique in their own way with our main aim being to ensure we meet our customer’s brief as closely as possible.
We offer high quality food and wine in a relaxed environment but deliver this with a professional restaurant approach. The menus created by Paul Merrett, our highly acclaimed & award winning Chef & Owner are designed for both intimate smaller weddings through to larger weddings.
Currently, our family style menus are proving very popular. They include starters or sharing starters, slow roasted meat or fish dishes served with family style sides and desserts creating a fun sociable dinner party style experience. This gives us a great chance to showcase the food and assure our guests enjoy a wedding where the food is as much a highlight as the rest of the wedding.
We have also created menus that range from the classic quintessential canapes and fizz arrival with a seated 3 course dinner through to a 5-course tasting menu. We can also provide a fully bespoke menu following a detailed discussion.
A senior member of our team will meet you to discuss your wedding requirements and create a plan for your day/evening with us.
Our dedicated wedding coordinator will manage your booking from the outset and will assist with the following: menu planning, wine choices, and introducing you too some of our preferred suppliers including florists, DJ’s, photographers and taxis etc.
