The Malt House, a great, independent gastropub with rooms just off Fulham Broadway.

Thank you for your custom

It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of The Malt House Hotel and Restaurant.

We have loved our time in Fulham, but the ongoing Coronavirus crisis has made it impossible for us to reopen as we had wished.

We thank you for sharing your moments of celebration with us. We’ve enjoyed cooking for you, serving your drinks and providing a comfortable place to stay.

The good news is, this needn’t be goodbye forever, you can continue to enjoy our hospitality at one of our sister pubs, The Fox and Grapes, Wimbledon Common, or The Victoria, Sheen.

Please check us out by clicking on the button below to join our mailing list. Keep up to date with ‘what’s on’ and receive 20% off your bill at both the Fox and Grapes and the Victoria by presenting on arrival the voucher we send to you.

Fingers crossed, we’ll be able to resume our very successful food and wine matching events in the near future, and of course, we are ready to receive your Christmas bookings in line with our post lockdown reopening in December.

FOX & GRAPES

Wimbledon Common

The Fox & Grapes is the only independent pub in Wimbledon Village. Modern English menus deliver classics with a twist – from the definitive prawn cocktail to shepherd’s pie made with slow roasted shoulder of lamb.
Sunday lunches are a local legend, with three different roasts always available. Friendly and cosy, the Fox is the ideal everyday local, as well as the perfect spot for a celebration lunch or a relaxed dinner. And don’t stop at dinner. Stay for breakfast too, after a night in one of our super-comfy, air-conditioned bedrooms.

THE VICTORIA

East Sheen

The Victoria is a great gastropub with rooms in Sheen, South West London. Proudly independent since 1888, The Victoria serves locals and passers-by all day.
From breakfast after the school run to must-book brunch at weekends, from the best à la carte dinner around to epic Sunday roasts. You’ll find well-loved modern British favourites at this stylish gastronomic bolthole. But expect innovation too and a carefully-considered wine list, full of character, alongside craft lagers and cask ales. An airy conservatory dining room leads out to a leafy, walled garden. Seven hip hotel rooms carry the pub’s decadent styling to the converted stables out back.
